Autolykos v2 hashrates

Thanks are you able to share your Bios for RX 570 4GB (Samsung RAM). I will have a look in my collection to see if any I own have Samsung RAM I’m sure their mostly Hynix. Would be good to get a little Bios collection going.

Asus GTX 1050 TI with Micron vram and NBminer v39.5 (-150 core / 1500 memory / 53 pl) = 29-30Mhash

it seems to me that over time the mining software will optimize the hashrate for cards, especially those that have a hashrate below what they do for other coins (like ethereum classic for example), therefore, test other mining software before you keep mining with just one.

in general, I prefer the RX 550 with biosmod, as they make 30 Mhash consuming only 20w.

biosmod manually via Polaris Bios Editor, because I realize that even the cards having the same vram, there is a change in performance, it’s never exactly the same.

Thanks I’ll give it a go one good thing about running with stock bios is that my temps are kept low but I really do want that little bit extra hashrate. Whats the temps your getting?

Rx 570 is at 55º with a ambient temperature of 33-35º C (summer, but it should get even hotter, especially in February)

All my gpus stays at this temperature, the exception is the r9 380 which is at 60º.

the place where those gpu are doesn’t pay for electricity, so I could put an air conditioner but I’m fine with my gpu (the cheap ones) at that temperature, I would be worried if it was above 70 or if it was expensive gpus like RTX.

I forgot to mention the 1660s, they stay at 47º because they are in another location, a little cooler with an ambient temperature of 27º.

3060TI use 1470 / 2400 (best ratio watt/Hashrate) or 1540 / 2400

memory 2600 and more is useless man ! up core no memory

P106-90 3GB with NBminer = 43 Mhash (no stress gpu)

I don’t pay for electricity, so it’s still profitable to mine these altcoins, most of my hashrate power from 3gb to 4gb I changed to ETC, I just leave the most effective gpu mining Ergo, like this p106-90 where on ETC it is weak and delivery only 14 Mhash (should be more)

The good thing about mining Ergo is that the GPUs heat up less, and it’s summer here, the heat this year is very strong, my GPU’s is at 60 degrees and I can’t lower these temperatures, only with air conditioning would lower the temperatures, but unfortunately with the low profitability I can’t add an air conditioner in the environment even if I don’t pay for electricity, because I don’t know if tomorrow for example it will still be profitable and I will be able to pay the air conditioning costs with the mining of these 3gb to 4gb GPUs, therefore, I prefer to leave the plates at these temperatures for a few days, in 1 to 2 weeks the heat should start to decrease and autumn is coming lowering the temperatures.

Nanominer - Zotac GTX1060 6 gb - 36 Mh/s

P106-90 3GB with NBminer v40.1 (hiveos) = 47 Mhash and 60w power (core 150 memory 300)

before it’s useless, this gpu is getting better and better in ergo mining, I’m just saying this because I won’t buy this gpu anymore, if I didn’t keep it a secret haha ( she no longer miner ETC [DAG])

R9 380 4GB MSI = 43 Mhash (core 945 memory 1500 dpm 5 power 120w)

mining ergo is better because it heats up the gpu less, this gpu only gives profit if you don’t pay for electricity.

For all RTX 30xx LHR or No LHR the best setting for me

Ccore: 1490
Memory: 2000 + 400mhs ‘P0’ = 2400
PL: 0

I’m using minerSRBMiner-Multi-0-9-3
RX580 8gb powercolor
with default cores
-coreclock 1350
-mclock 2000
SRBMiner-MULTI.exe --disable-cpu --algorithm autolykos2 --gpu-autolykos2-preload 1 --pool ergo.herominers.com:1180 --wallet --gpu-boost 3
pause

Hey, I am sorry for the late reply.

I did modify the bios with Polaris Bios Editor, but only the memory timings.

You dont need really high Memory on those cards on Ergo.
What I found to be working the best for me was to put the Memory at 1850 because it was stable for all my cards and for Core I tuned each of them individually up to 1320 on some cards and 1300 or 1280 on others that were crashing on the higher.

In the advanced config I had this: amdmemtweak –REF 20
I also noticed that putting “Memory Controller Voltage” to 850mV lowers each card by 5w at the wall extra on top of everything else. Tried with 800mV but after a day one of the cards crashed so I put it back to 850mV. Maybe something like 820 or 830 might work but I decided to not experiment.

I found out that using Team Red Miner is the best for those cards. I got higher MH with lower watts compared to nanominer and lolminer and extreme stability. With nanominer I was getting Rejected shares (around 99.85% but still) and with lolminer also. With trm I was having the best performance with lowers consumption.

Also in a test about if higher fan rpm consumes more electricity I noticed that if the cards are cooler they consume less energy. This is because conductivity is worse when they are hotter so actually putting the fans a bit higher will also lower your consumption and when you stack all those stuff together it makes a big difference.

This is all I gathered in my journey with the RX580 4GB Nitro+.
From 820W at the wall to a solid 750W at the wall after I did all these improvements.
I sold them a week ago and got RTX 3060 TI FE and I am still mining ERGO.

Here are some screenshots from the latest settings on one of my last rigs and also one of the newer ones.

RTX 3070 Ti (ASUS TUF) - T-Rex (–lock-cclock 1520) - 157 MH/s 122W - 1.28 MH/W
RTX 3080 Ti (EVGA FTW3) - T-Rex (–lock-cclock 1620) - 234 MH/s 195W - 1.2 MH/W

soc frequency is at 1086 mhz, it gets crippled at 1076. higher core clock doesn’t seem to do anything, havent tried more mem clock yet. card isnt flashed
