Soft fork for FPGA resistance?

Hello everyone,

First time posting long time lurker… I was going to post this on reddit but I thought the forums would be the best place for this.

I am a home miner who has been mining ergo since long before eth merge. Part of what drew me in was the grass roots community, asic resistance, power efficiency, easy on vram temps, and so many other reasons obviously as we all know this is a great project with so much potential.

But i am concerned with fpga miners being on ergo. And where this is heading in the future as im seeing fpga miners being released with potential to mine ergo. Have there been any discussions about a soft fork for fpga resistance?
