Wallet to wallet encrypted messaging

I originally thought about messaging a wallet so that I could message the owner of an NFT to offer a bid or trade, but this seems useful in a lot of other ways as well.

One of the most interesting could be to privately interact with a smart contract.
What do you think? Interesting or useful?

interesting idea. I could see this being abused with annoying offers or just trolls.

Maybe ergo names can be used in this case as you would potentially know who the owner of the wallet is if their name was something recognizable. Then you can contact them that way.
