Are there instructions available ? Can I solo mine or is joining a mining pool necessary? I’m in Lima, Peru.

Not possible, unless you wrote your own miner to utilse the M1 architecture.
M1 power consumption looks promising, maybe later versions (M2, etc) will be supported.
