Tireless Ergonauts made amazing job over last few years, creating set of free (open-source, free to use and free to modify) financial tools on top of Ergo peer-to-peer network, where reference client code is in public domain, mostly. With no doubt, this creates strong foundation for unstoppable and uncensorable finance, and, in particular, programmable money for the people in opposite to CBDCs.
This movement probably looks like early years of Linux (among with many other free software movements). And as in Linux ecosystem, we can expect rise of commercial companies and projects.
Which is not bad thing per se, but balance of interests and non-commercial innovative core of the ecosystem should continue to exist, I suppose. Lets discuss how to make this possible.
Also, as Ergo protocol was designed for monetary innovations, there should be more innovative fundraising options available than we have now. AuctionCoin/FIMOs etc is a good start but there is need for more.
